Elizabeth G’Sell, LMFT

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFC 132424)

Elizabeth G’Sell, LMFT
"I believe truth and meaning in life is like a diamond, multi-faceted and shining differently based on how the light & shadows dance upon it. As human beings, we have universal experiences of joy, sorrow, loss, love and making meaning of it all. How we create meaning of our human experience varies vastly upon person to person and I find beauty within each person’s truth and supporting them in living their best lives. As an existential therapist who takes a holistic approach to psychotherapy, I wholeheartedly believe in creating a safe, empowering environment in therapy through a humanistic lens of unconditional regard. I support clients in breaking down systemic and interpersonal barriers in which to reconnect with their authentic selves, their intuition, and their own voice creating a future that aligns with their values.

Currently, I am a doctoral candidate in clinical sexology identifying as a life-long learner; I believe it’s a continuous journey of growth. I have training in ACT, DBT & CBT modalities and interweave them when appropriate. I specialize in mind-body connection, women’s issues, therapy for creative’s & high achievers, post-traumatic growth, sex therapy, eating disorders, LGBTQ+, life transitions, and relationships. My clients appreciate my blend of empathy, knowledge, humor and down-to-earth approach to therapy. When I am not serving within the mental health community; I enjoy traveling, learning about religions and cultures, dance, painting, exploring nature and spending quality time with my loved ones."
